Neurophysiotherapy is a specialist form of physiotherapy dedicated to improving the function of patients who have suffered an injury or disease affecting their central nervous system.
It’s the job of the Neurological Physiotherapist to assess the individual and to use their extensive skills and knowledge of tone, joints and movement to help the patient move with more efficiency and ease. Does the patient require larger progressions such as learning to walk again, or is it small fine movements that need attention? This will be determined by our specialist Neurological Physiotherapists on an initial appointment.
